Sarajevo: In Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) International Volunteer Day will represent a very important moment for ‘V’ as the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme and other national and International organizations are showing support towards the adoption of a law that promotes volunteering.

 

UNV in BiH are planning several activities including a debate organized by OAZA on 1 December; on 5 December, a fair to highlight volunteering and the Millennium Development Goals and a youth-oriented event with youth volunteer centres in Srebrenica.

 

They will also hold a conference, in coordination with local volunteer organizations to present the draft law on volunteering to the Ministry of Civil Society on 7 December.
