Phnom Penh: In Cambodia, the theme for this year's IVD is engaging youth in development through volunteering.

We had the provisional theme of 'Youth for Volunteerism'.  VolCam, a network of locally-based volunteer agencies, and other volunteer involving groups will set up  information booths and distribute promotional materials. There will be a forum where young people could get practical guidelines on how they can formally volunteer.  Also, we have decided there would need to be an informal talk on volunteering.
 
In order to attract young people to the venue, we have discussed the need for celebrities to take part, especially musicians and/or comedians.
