Canadian volunteer agencies thank Government and Canadians on IVD

CUSO, a Canadian volunteer-sending organization, together with other volunteer agencies, celebrated International Volunteers Day (IVD) by expressing their appreciation towards the Canadian Government and its people for providing financial support and becoming volunteers. Each year more than 3,000 Canadians are sent abroad to work as volunteers in poor countries and this was made possible with funds from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
