Corporate volunteers to offer free medical tests

Accra, Ghana: For International Volunteer Day, the United Nations Volunteer programme will provide free medical examination to some 1600 in James Town, in Accra, Ghana.
Kinapharma, a pharmaceutical company, will be providing medicine, the Cuban Medical Brigade pledged nine doctors and 13 nurses while volunteers from the Ghana National Service Scheme also offered their services.
In addition, the Volunteer Medical Mission will raise funds and help obtain other resources for the town as part of its contribution to volunteerism.
