Georgetown: “Guyana is fortunate to benefit from the services of more than one hundred and ten international volunteers,” says Clement Rohee, Minister of Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at a press conference today.
The press conference focused on the International Volunteers’ Day activities, on 5 December, the Ministry is planning. This year’s theme is ‘Volunteer- Become a partner for development.’
Minister Rohee said the Government of Guyana has benefited from the services of volunteers over a number of years and the services offered by them have provided a sense of collective responsibility and brought about tangible differences.
