The UN Volunteers together with the Presidential Office will conduct a series of events for IVD. The presidents office will give out awards in recognition of best volunteerism practices; youth will paint a 300 meter tapestry to depicting life in the country; and a key event is scheduled for 13 September 2003 in San Pedro Sula; admission is free, but pre-registration is required due to limited space.
