The University and Civil Society: Autonomy and Responsibility

The first major international conference hosted by the University of Denver/University of Bologna International Center for Civic Engagement. This conference calls for global dialogue on the role of the university in serving the public good.

The organizers hope to attract a wide range of participants interested in the role of the University in Civil Society. The sessions will be designed to engage the audience and to encourage vigorous and thought-provoking discussion. Main speakers will include some of the leading thinkers in this area.
