The Government of Japan has sponsored a one-day workshop for the discussion of the achievements of the Sudanese National Committee during the International Year for Voluntarism 2001. The workshop also aimed at preparing a report on the situation andconditions of voluntary work in the country. The report, together with recommendations, is to be submitted to the UN General Assembly’s meeting, commencing on 26.11.02,where the Voluntarism Programme is going to present an international report.  Read article
