United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme recenlty released the “Volunteers and the Millennium Developmet Goals (MDGs) in Uzbekistan". The brochure contains concrete examples on how international and local volunteers are helping communities address issues on poverty, gender equality, education and battling the spread HIV/AIDS.
