Hamilton, Bermuda: The Bermuda Volunteer Centre was launched yesterday by the Centre on Philanthropy to assist people in finding volunteer opportunities.

The online resource links volunteers with non-profit organizations and allows them to search and sign up for available volunteering opportunities that fit their schedule and interest area.

The resource was launched at a reception held at Bacardi International to mark International Volunteer Day.

This year, 44 volunteers were recognized by The Centre on Philanthropy for making a difference to Bermuda's community.
