It's Global Youth Service Day - not one, but three days, in fact - running from 15-17 April.

Global Youth Service Day has happened every year since 1988 and celebrates and mobilizes the millions of children and youth help their communities through volunteering. It is the largest such event in the world, and the only day of service dedicated to children and youth.

Celebrated each year in over 100 countries, millions of children and youth work together with schools, youth organizations, nonprofits, community and faith-based organizations, volunteer and national service programmes, government agencies, and others to address the world’s most critical issues and change their communities.
