International Volunteer Cooperation Organizations Conference 2009
Budapest, Hungary
The annual International Volunteer Cooperation Organizations Conference (IVCO) aims to bring together organizations involved in international volunteer cooperation to share ideas and challenge acquired thinking, to  network, learn and build relationships.

This year, IVCO 2009 will be held from October 18-21 in Budapest, Hungary. Organized by the International FORUM on Development Service and hosted by the Hungarian Volunteer Sending Organization, the forum will cover such topics as:

• Sharing new initiatives
• Involving the 12 new EU members in international volunteering programmes
• Involving young volunteers in development programmes
• Exploring the impact of the economic crisis
• Encouraging local development education
• Changing nature of nation states - shifting from recipients to donors
• The road to 2011 - International year of the Volunteer + 10
