IYV+10 Declarations Downloads from the recent conferences and meetings that have taken place this year, the tenth anniversary of the International Year of Volunteers (IYV+10).
Below you will find the Synopsis Recommendations from the five regional IYV+10 consultations, the DPI-NGO Declaration Chair's Text, the Global Volunteer Conference Declaration, and the Southern Africa Conference Declaration. "Volunteering for a sustainable future": A document from the Global Volunteer Conference that took place 15-17 September 2011 in Budapest, Hungary, organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme. This document constitutes a synopsis of 125 recommendations gathered at five International Year of Volunteers Tenth Anniversary Regional Consultation Meetings held during March-June 2011. "Sustainable Societies; Responsive Citizens": a declaration from the 64th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference that took place in Bonn, Germany, from 3-5 September 2011. "Creating an enabling environment for volunteer action in the region": a final declaration adopted on 19 October 2011 at the close of the Southern Africa Conference on Volunteer Action for Development in Johannesburg. |
