Companies launch toolkit to improve employee volunteering
28 June 2007

London, UK: A group of companies recently launched, ENGAGE Toolkit, a comprehensive guide to internationalise emlpoyee engagement for companies and NGOs.

The toolkit features a discussion on the business case for Employee Community Engagement demonstrating the benefits of working with community partners and advice on how to internationalise employee community engagement strategy, key steps, a checklist in designing programme and numerous case studies demonstrating other successful examples.

It has been designed to build capacity within the business and NGO sectors - providing a unique opportunity to deliver sustainable corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities in Europe. This was the collaborative work of UK-based companies, to name a few, Allen & Overy LLP, Citi, DLA Piper, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, GE, IBM, KPMG, Linklaters, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Nokia.

ENGAGE is multi-stakeholder campaign, led by Business in the Community and the International Business Leaders Forum, bringing together companies and community partners around the globe. ENGAGE aims expand employee community engagement through collaborative action between companies and their work with local community partners
