The Nakawuka Educational Development Association, based in Kampala, Uganda, is inviting volunteer teachers from all over the world to come and teach different disciplines in its community-based school Twinlight Children’s Centre.
Currently the school has seven classes from nursery to primary with 230 students, 65 of which are orphans. The school welcomes children from different cultural, racial, religious and economic backgrounds.
Most of the training is provided through eurhythmy (a new art of movement), speech, drama, story telling, painting, drawing and other creative means. Children are also trained in carpentry and tailoring.
