Eight ways to change the world

by Faça Parte Sao Paulo, Brazil: Faça Parte is a Brazilian civil society organization founded in 2001, whose mission is to consolidate a volunteering culture by encouraging the youth participation in the construction of a socially fairer nation. It promotes service learning experiences to improve education for citizenship and solidarity. The institute's main programme is 'Selo Escola Solidária' (Solidarity School Seal) which identifies and recognizes Brazilian schools experiences committed to an education based in the ideals of citizenship and participation. This national programme was recognized by the Innovations in Civic Participation (ICP) report 'Innovations in International Youth Volunteering'.
