Groundwork (Ireland) 
Groundwork’s focus has been on the removal of the invasive Rhododendron ponticum from Killarney National Park, Co. Kerry. Volunteer workcamps for 2008 will commence on 22 June 2008 for 12 weeks with the last week commencing 7 September.  Visit site

Hands On Network 
Hands On Network leads a national civic movement in the USA bringing people together to tackle tough community problems through service. Hands on Tokyo 
Hands On Tokyo started in December 2006 with a small group of people talking about how they may best to serve their community.  This group however, had a bit of a different make-up.  It was made up of foreign and Japanese nationals interested in developing a bilingual volunteer clearinghouse so that they could volunteer together without the fear of not being able to communicate with each other. Health Volunteer Overseas (HVO) 
Health Volunteer Overseas provides opportunities for professional medical persons to train local health care providers, giving them the knowledge and skills that will make difference in their own communities. Volunteers lecture, conduct ward rounds and demonstrate various techniques in classrooms, clinics and operating rooms.
