African Experience 
African-Experience is a South African organization that offers young people an opportunity to experience African adventure on “big game farms”. Opportunities range from 2 to 12-week-long programmes. AFS Intercultural Programs  
AFS Intercultural Programs is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. AFS Intercultural Programs is a leader in intercultural learning and offers international exchange programs in over 50 countries around the world through independent, not-for-profit AFS organizations, each with a network of volunteers, a professionally staffed office, and headed up by a volunteer board.  Visit site
American Academy of Paediatrics 
The American Academy of Paediatrics - an organization of 60,000 paediatricians - maintains an online database of more than 100 groups that need paediatricians for both short- and long-term, paid and voluntary service abroad. The database is searchable by country.  Visit site
American Dental Association (ADA) 
The volunteer programme of the American Dental Association (ADA) seeks volunteers to provide continuing education to general dentists in Port-au-Prince and Cape Haitien in basic sciences, radiology, diagnosis and treatment planning, oral surgery and various dental treatments. ADA is also looking for volunteers to Moldova, Nicaragua and St. Lucia.  Visit site
American Red Cross 
American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Search for thousands of one-time and on-going Red Cross volunteer opportunities by zip code, category, and date on the VolunteerMatch online database.  Visit site
Amigos de las Americas  
Amigos de la Americas (AMIGOS) builds partnerships to empower young leaders, advance community development and strengthen multicultural understanding in the Americas.  Visit site
Ampersand Network  
Ampersand.org.au is the web-based arm of the Ampersand Network Inc., a not-for-profit group committed to making the volunteer sector more accessible to students in Australia. It provides access to opportunities listed with Volunteering Australia and Conservation Volunteers, and provides links to agencies that can place young volunteers in countries all over the world.  Visit site
Art Corps  
ArtCorps pairs volunteer artists for 9-12 months with Central American organizations to communicate their messages through art. Artists use every imaginable art form including theater, mime, puppetry, mural painting, sculpture and poetry to bring the organizations' environmental and social messages to life and engage the local community in its activities.   Visit site
Asociación Trabajo Voluntario 
Social entrepreneur Jaime Ulloa is building Peru's first extensive system for volunteering. His organization, Asociación Trabajo Voluntario (Volunteer Work Association), encourages individuals, citizen organizations and business corporations to donate time and resources that will raise the quality of life and bridge social gaps that are hobbling this country.  Visit site
Australian Volunteers International 
Australian Volunteers International (AVI) is Australia's largest and most experienced international volunteer sending agency. In the last 50 years AVI has placed more than 6,000 Australian volunteers in 70 countries in Asia, the Pacific, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.   Visit site
