Volunteer Teacher Thailand 
Volunteer Teacher Thailand carries on the English education work of the Tsunami Volunteer Center and so provides free English lessons to children and adults in the Phang-Nga province in southern Thailand. The organization teaches in offices, orphanages, schools and other communities and furthermore holds lessons for adults and organizes English camps.  Visit site

Volunteer Workcamps Association of Ghana 
Voluntary workcamps are community-building projects involving local and international volunteers. The three-week assignment, located in one of the 15 camps scattered around the country, usually involves building schools, organizing an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign and planting trees.  Visit site
Volunteering for Literacy initiative  
The Volunteering for Literacy initiative, developed by Volunteering South Australia, was designed to bring together volunteers involved in literacy work. The initiative serves to support and acknowledge the work of volunteers in literacy, whether in schools, prisons, community centres or settlement services.
