Africa and Asia Venture 
Africa & Asia Venture Ltd (AV), based in the UK, was set up in 1993 as a specialist gap year volunteering organisation for volunteers aged 17 to 25. AV now works with projects in China, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Tanzania, Thailand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Uganda. Over the past 15 years AV’s 4,500+ volunteers have contributed the equivalent of more than 1,200 years of volunteer service in developing countries.  Visit site
Africa Change International (ACI) 
ACI is an NGO based in Ghana which aims at helping less or underprivileged children in Africa. The organization provides some basic training in sports, information and communication technology (ICT) and trains children to be prepared for their Basic Education Certificate Examination. African Experience 
African-Experience is a South African organization that offers young people an opportunity to experience African adventure on “big game farms”. Opportunities range from 2 to 12-week-long programmes. AfriVol works with development oriented non-profit-organizations in Ghana that are in need of human resource assistance. AfirVol is active in many fields, such as Health, Architecture, Agriculture, Education and Human Rights.  Visit site
AFS Intercultural Programs  
AFS Intercultural Programs is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. AFS Intercultural Programs is a leader in intercultural learning and offers international exchange programs in over 50 countries around the world through independent, not-for-profit AFS organizations, each with a network of volunteers, a professionally staffed office, and headed up by a volunteer board.  Visit site
American Academy of Paediatrics 
The American Academy of Paediatrics - an organization of 60,000 paediatricians - maintains an online database of more than 100 groups that need paediatricians for both short- and long-term, paid and voluntary service abroad. The database is searchable by country.  Visit site
American Dental Association (ADA) 
The volunteer programme of the American Dental Association (ADA) seeks volunteers to provide continuing education to general dentists in Port-au-Prince and Cape Haitien in basic sciences, radiology, diagnosis and treatment planning, oral surgery and various dental treatments. ADA is also looking for volunteers to Moldova, Nicaragua and St. Lucia.  Visit site

Ampersand Network  
Ampersand.org.au is the web-based arm of the Ampersand Network Inc., a not-for-profit group committed to making the volunteer sector more accessible to students in Australia.
