Call for Papers: NCVO and VSSN’s Researching the Voluntary Sector Conference
08 February 2006
The conference, to be held on 13 and 14 September at Warwick University in the UK is a wonderful opportunity to meet others with an interest in voluntary sector research, discuss findings and share ideas. The conference is UK based, but continues to attract international delegates.
Conference coordinators are now inviting proposals for presentations. If you would like to present your research at the conference, see the section called "how to submit a paper".
You can submit a proposal to present a single research paper, or a whole session (which might be a discussion, panel, or suite of related papers). Either way, your 400 to 600 word proposal should be emailed (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 10 March.
As in previous years, there will be a session for "new" researchers in conjunction with colleagues at the Institute for Volunteering Research. It is aimed at those who are relatively new to the field of voluntary sector research and is an opportunity to meet other new researchers and share ideas in an informal session.
If you are a new researcher and would like to submit a paper for this session, you should send a 400 to 600 word paper to Angela Ellis Paine (email@example.com) between 23 January and 10 March, when they will be welcoming papers on a whole range of research themes and sector issues.
