Reef Doctor, a UK-based environmental organization, is seeking a volunteer to run their diving operations in Madagascar.
The volunteer’s task would include recording coral reef survey dives, help design and implement surveys with local scientists, students and volunteers, conduct diver training under PADI certification.
The candidate must have diving qualification, has own diving equipment, a dive medical certificate, among others.
Currently, Reef Doctor is working on the heavily utilised barrier reef system of the Bay of Ranobe on the south western shores of Madagascar. The team is also working closely with students from the Insititut Halieutique et des Sciences Marines, the main educational facility for marine and coastal sciences.
