Port Louis, Mauritius: Young people are being encouraged to participated in the Youth Visioning project, which allows them to play an active role in the international review process and development of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

Young participants will meet at the Mauritius International Meeting on small island developing States, in January 2005, to focus on the three themes: “Life and love in islands”, “My island home” and “Money in my pocket.

They will discuss their concerns, share information about ongoing and planned activities and shape their vision, backed up by specific proposals, for future implementation.
